Rule 76 Ventures LLC was formed in the State of Texas in 2018 as the umbrella entity for the work of its founder, Travis Devitt. Everything the company does — the media properties, the software, the applications — runs through it.
The name
Rule 76
No excuses, play like a champion.
It is a maxim about showing up and doing the work at full effort, whatever the conditions. That is the standard the company holds itself to: fewer excuses, more finished work, shipped in public where people can judge it.
How we operate
- Small on purpose. No outside capital, no headcount targets, no growth we did not choose.
- Build for ourselves first. Every tool we make is one we use daily before anyone else sees it.
- Publish in the open. The media work keeps the research honest and the feedback fast.
- Own the whole stack. Research, writing, design, and engineering are done in house.

Travis Devitt
Founder & Managing Member
Travis Devitt founded Rule 76 Ventures in 2018 and is its sole managing member. He leads the company's media work at StockGeek.TV, covering public markets and long-term investing, and designs and builds the company's software along with the applications produced under Rule 76 Labs.
He is responsible for all company operations and is authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of the entity.
